Dr. Kevin R. Lefebvre of the Department of Telecommunica-tions, School of Information Systems and Engineering Technol- ogy, State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNY IT), New York, USA, visited Assumption University on 9 March 2004.

Dr. Lefebvre had preliminary technical talks with Dr. Dobri Atanassov Batovski, Director of the Master of Science in Telecom- munications Science (MS TS) Degree Program, Department of Telecommunications Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, related to the eventual establishment of a Joint Master Degree Program in Telecommunications between SUNY IT and Assumption University in the future.
