The Division of Research and Nursing Administration of the Faculty of Nursing Science organized four field trips to fulfill the requirements of the course, NS-4411 - Nursing Administration Practicum to observe hospital management and nursing administration in private and public health care institutions. The trips were to Samitivej Srinakharin Hospital and the Thai Red Cross on 17 February and to the Thailand Nursing Council and Phra Phutthaloetla Naphalai Hospital on 18 February 2004.

The aims of these field trips were to extend the knowledge and experiences on the principle of nursing administration and the management process of health care and nursing organization. In addition, the students had the opportunity to listen to lectures and observe the actual process of nursing services and hospital manage-ment in both the private and public health care institutions.
