A. Tet Toe of the Faculty of Engineering participated in the 12th International Conference in Central Europe on Computer Graphics, Visualization and Computer Vision '2004 (WSCG'2004) held on 2-6 February at the Conference Hall of the University of West Bohemia, Bory Plzen Campus, Plzen City, Czech Republic. He left Bangkok on 1 February and returned on 7 February 2004.
The Conference was attended by 117 participants from 30 countries such as: Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Thailand, the USA, etc. The program started with an Opening Ceremony, followed by a Keynote Address by Dr. Penny Rheingans of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, USA on, "Expressive Volume Render-ing". The participants had a chance to visit the Pilsner Urquell Brewery and partici-pated in a beer party hosted by the Lord Mayer of the City of Plzen. Another Keynote Address was given by Dr. Carol O'Sullivan of the Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland on, "Fidelity Metrics for Animation".
A. Tet Toe also presented a research paper on, "Curve Matching by Using B-spline Curves". The abstract of his paper will be published in AU Abstracts 2004, to be published in July 2004.
