To fulfill the requirements for the course, FT-4191 and AI- 4219 - Field Trip, the Faculty of Biotechnology arranged a field trip for the students to have a chance to observe the real operation of agro-industrial and food products. One visit was made to the Chumphon Palm Oil Industry Public Co., the South on 20 March 2004; the other was to the Siam Food Product Public Co., Ltd. at Chon Buri Province on the East Coast on 22 March 2004. These field trips were aimed at extending the knowledge of the principle and process of the palm oil products and of the pineapple. The other aim was to provide a chance for the students to be familiar with the machines and equipment of agricultural products.
