We are happy to introduce two new faculty members of the Faculty of Nursing Science as follows:
Ms. Apiradee Saengsirirojn, B.Ns., M.Sc. (Nursing Administration): Born in Chiang Mai Province, A. Apiradee received a bachelor's degree in nursing science from Chiang Mai University in 1998. She then worked as a registered nurse at Maharat Nakhon Chiang Mai Hospital in the Trauma Unit and Surgery Intensive Care Unit for two years. She continued her study for a master's degree in Nursing Science (Nursing Administration) at Chulalongkorn University. During that period she received a 'teacher's assistant' scholarship. She had a good experience to work as a lecturer for education program student in 'Infant & Pre-school Children subject', research project assistant for 'An Evaluation of Graduate Student project', a team member of 'Time Management' training course tor Chulalongkorn's up-country program students. She prepared the article, "The caring of pre-school student", for broadcasting at Chulalongkorn University's radio station (101.5 FM) program.
Ms. Phiangjai Phalee, B.Ns., M.Sc. (Public Health major in Public Health Nursing): A. Phiangjai received her Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from Mahidol University in 1997. She then worked at the Female Surgery Ward, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University for five years. During this time she also studied for her Master degree in Public Health Nursing at Mahidol University.
Some of her other experiences and accomplishments include: (i) Training in Gastrointestinal Tract system, and (ii) Training in Occupational Health Nursing. She is greatly interested in Occupational Health Nursing as she has done research on, "The selected factors associated with service quality of nursing units in textile factories in Bangkok". After graduated with her Master degree, she worked at Lat Luang Municipality, Department of Public Health and Environment for one year, until being offered her present position as an instructor of the Faculty of Nursing Science, Community Health Nursing Division.
