On 16 October 2002, a group of faculty members from the Institute for Science and Technology Research and
Development, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chesada Kasemset. Director of the Institute, visited the Faculty of Science and Technology. The objective of their visit was to help develop " I'hc Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Technologies (Intech'03)".
InTech is the International Conference on Intelligent Technologies that was first established by the collaboration between the AU Faculty of Science and Technology, and a group of researchers. The first meeting (InTech'2002) was held at Assumption University, Bang Na Campus, between the 13-15 December 2000. The second meeting (InTech'2001) was also held at AU Bang Na Campus, between 27-29 November 2001. We were fortunate and honored that the third meeting (InTech'2001), were jointly organized by AU and the Institute of Information Technology (IOIT), National Center for Natural Science and Technology (NCST), Vietnam in Hanoi, Vietnam. The past three conferences of InTech were very successful. For InTech'2003, we are privileged to be organized jointly with the Institute for Science and Technology R&D (ISTRD) of Chiang Mai Univ., the Fuzzy System. -Intelligent Technologies Research Society of Thailand (FIRST), and Japan Society of Fuzzy Theory and Systems (SOFT).
