The joint conference was organized by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and sponsored by the Singapore Neuroscience Association Asia-Pacific Neural Network Assembly SEAL & FSKD Conference Steering Committees. The Conferences not only featured the most up- to-date research results in natural and artificial neural systems, evolutionary computation, fuzzy systems, and knowledge discovery, but also promoted crossfertilization over these exciting and yet closely related areas.
In this Conference, three papers from the Faculty of Science and Technology were accepted for presentation.
The first paper from, Ms. Jantra U-seng, a faculty member from Computer Science Department, entitled: "A system for identifying writer from Thai handwriting image" by Jantra U-seng and Thitipong Tanprasert, was accepted as poster presentation.
The second and third papers, were from Mr. Tawan Thongpook, Ph.D., a student in Telecommunication and Computer Network Engineer ing, Telecommunications Science Department. The papers were entitled: "Adaptive solution for wireless ad hoc network by using neural fuzzy system" is accepted as poster presentation.
