AU Games
On 8 November 2002, the AU Student Organization arranged the closing Ceremonies for "AU GAMES 2002". Following the opening ceremonies held on 9 September 2002, there were ten sport competitions. These were: swimming, football, basketball, Amath, crossword, go, pool ball, track, volleyball, and table tennis.
The AU Games was organized in order to bring students together, and further develop friendships among students in each and every faculty.
The highlight of this event were the 'stand cheering' and 'cheer leading' contests. Even though the Faculty did not win any prize, they explained that they had learnt a lot on how to manage their time needed for studying, activities, and friendship, which is very important for university life.
