Birthday Celebration at the Home for Ihe Aged

Architecture staff at the 'Home for the Aged',
To mark the occasion of the sixth anniversary the School of A re hi lecture, the Dean. A. Pisit Vjriyavadbana, Chairperson, A. Kittiiatana PittipanicL A. Eliren Paz. and the student body, organized a trip to Dang Khae District II, on 14 December 2002, to the "Home for the Aged", in order to deliver a roodesE sum of money donated by kind hearted individuals.

The group arrived there at approximately 2:00 p.m., where a gionp of the senior ladies greeted them. The student then split up into groups and joined the eight groups of ladies at each table, and socialized with them for about half an hour. Soon alter the students organized an amateur 'magic show*, later on; one of the ladies went onstage and exposed the trick of the 'magician'.

A musical chair merry-go-round game was also played. On the final round, one lady finalist beat out one of our girl student finalist by getting to the chair Eirsl. All of this was met with much fun and laughter.

Dinner was held ai 4:00 p.m., with the students serving ihe food.

After dinner, a thankful lady gave her orange and apple tc our student leader, refusing tc take Ihem back. Ii was quite an emotional experience Ibr everyone.

After the money was presented to Ihe account manager of the center, it was time to leave, A few ladies and some students wept unashamedly as the students bade goodbye.
