Multi-conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics

A. Pitiporn Pakdeepinit (above) and A. Piyakul Tillapart (below) present their papers at the Multi-conference on Systematics, Cybernatics and lnformatics (‘SC1 2002’) held in Orlando, Florida, USA last July
The Multi-conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics (‘SC1 2002’) is an international forum for scientists scientists, engineers, researchers, consultants, theoreticians and practitioners in the fields of systemics, cybernetics and informatics. It is a forum to focus into specific disciplinary research as well as for multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary studies and projects. The purpose of SC1 2002 was to promote discussion and interaction
between researchers and practitioners focused on disciplines as well as different areas. The topic included Information Systems Development, Information Systems Management, Management Information Systems, Virtual Engineering, Mobile/Wireless Computing, Communication Systems and Networks, Emergent Computation, etc. There were research papers submitted from 78 countries all over the world.

The Conference was held on 14-18 July 2002 in Orlando, Florida, USA. The Faculty of Science and Technology submitted altogether 4 research papers, which were : “Intervalized Similarity and Star Products” by Pratit Santiprabhob, “Performance Comparison of ATM Policing Mechanisms with Telecommunications Traffic” by Pitiporn Pakdeepinit and Chanintorn Jittawiriyanukoon, “Fuzzy Intrusion Detection System” by Piyakul Tillapart and Pratit Santiprabhob, and “Intelligent Electronic Marketplace for Tourism” by Supannika Koolmanojwong and Pratit Santiprabhob.
