Multi-conference in Computer Science
Dr. Dobri Batovski, Director of St. Gabriel Telecommunications Laboratory, and Dr. Gennady Veselovsky from the Faculty of Engineering went to present their research papers at the 2002 International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Processing Techniques and Applications (PDPTA ‘02) which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 24-27 June 2002. It was held simultaneously with a number of other international conferences and workshops such as the 2002 International Multi-conference in Computer Science. The topics of the Conference included Parallel/ Distributed Applications, Parallel / Distributed Architectures, Building Block Processors, Networks and Interconnection Networks, Reliability and Fault-Tolerance, Real-Time and Embedded Systems, etc.
There were two research papers submitted by the two faculty members to this conference; they were “On the Invariant Many-One Packet Routing in Multi-Link Binary Hypercubes” by Dr. Dobri Atanassov Batovski, and “An Invariant Oblivious Minimum-Routing Algorithm for Binary Hypercubes” by Dr. Dobri Atanassov Batovski and Dr. Gennady Veselovsky. The abstracts of their papers are presented in a new column “Abstracts of Papers presented at International Meetings” in this issue of the AU Tech Note.
