Rev. Bro. Martin P. Komolmas, AU President, invited H.E. Suwat Liptaphanlop, Minister of University Affairs, to join the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between the Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand (CEDT) and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) on 18 June 2002 at AU Bang Na Campus. Dr. Sudhiporn Patumtaewapibal, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, AU, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekkachai Sang-in, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led 38 Engineering Faculties to sign this agreement with the committee members of FTI led by Mr. Prapat Phodhiworakhun, President of FTI, Mr. Nipon Surapong- rukcharoen, and Mr. Kiattipong Noijaiboon, Vice Presidents of FTI. Assoc. Prof. Songkram Luengthongkham, Deputy Permanent Secretary, has also joined this event.
