A Trip to Ayutthaya

Invited scientists during their trip to Ayutthaya

A. Pawut Satitsukasanon, Program Director, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Program, Faculty of Science and Technology invited a group of international scientists to visit the ancient city of Ayutthaya on 30 November 2001. This group of scientists attended the International Conference on Intelligent Technologies 2001 (InTech '2001). They were from Germany, Belgium, Mexico, and Slovak, led by Prof. Oscar Castillo from Mexico and Prof. Bernard De Baers from Belgium.

Their first visit was to the Ayutthaya Cultural and Historical Center in order to be acquainted with Thailand's history. After that the group went to Wat Chai Watthanaram and the Ancient Palace. They took lunch on the boat cruising along the river for sight-seeing. Their last visit was to Her Majesty the Queen's SUPPORT Project at Bang Sai to observe Thai life style, handicraft and souvenir.
