Telnet Science # 6
Telnet Science is the annual flashback party of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The "Telnet" concept in information technology term is to join in one place in order to check and exchange new mail or new information. Telnet Science is the party that the alumni and the current students join together, unite their spirit, tighten their relationship and exchange their experiences.
"Telnet Science # 6" under the theme, "Cycle of Achievement", was not only a simple flashback party, but also the 12th year celebration of the Faculty of Science and Technology, together with the "Congratulations Party" for the graduates who had just finished the Commencement Exercise.
The activity was held on 16 February 2002 at the Hall of Fame, C Building. It was started with an Opening Speech by Rev. Bro. Martin P. Komolmas, AU Rector, followed by the presentation of the "Best Alumnus" award for professional achievement to Mr.
Trin Shunittanakul who graduated from the Department of Computer Science in the second batch. He is currently an IT specialist from DTAC Co., Ltd. He started his career path from KSC internet, Loxinfo and now at DTAC or Total Access Communication Co., Ltd. He specializes in the internet and networking system.
After that, we were delighted to listen to the speech from Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, Vice President for Academic Affairs. In the party, we also enjoyed the Faculty's presentation, which show progress in academic development and extra-curriculum development. The party ended with a Karaoke session, in which all participants sang the Faculty's song and telnet science song with happiness and strong bond of the S&T family.
