Last Orientation
When the freshmen students enroll in the Faculty of Science and Technology, the "First Orientation" activity has been organized to provide them with the tip on how to study at the university level. After three years these students turn to be senior students who are about to leave their university life after graduation. This is the time for them to be oriented in the "Last Orientation" activity which was organized in order to: (i) provide information on the difference between the university and business environment, (ii) share the experiences of alumni on how to apply theoretical work to professional work, and (iii) prepare these new graduates for their future career.
This activity was held on 16 February 2002 at the Multimedia Presentation Room, 6th floor, E Building. The activity was started with the Opening Speech by A. Supavadee Nontakao, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology. After that the Faculty invited the two alumni who succeeded well in their career path. They were Mr. Nanthawut Chookit, Consultant, PC Analyst Information Technol- ogy at Chevron Offshore (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and Business Development Manager at NTN Solution; and Ms. Suphawadee Chanta-arpa, from Alcatel. These two alumni shared their experiences with the new graduates. The Orientation ended with the conclusion from the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pratit Santiprabhob who also delivered a token to the two guest speakers.
