Seminar on Value of Being a Nurse
In order to enhance the confidence and self-satisfaction to nursing profession, and to promote unity and uniqueness among nursing students as well as to fulfill the requirements for the subject of NS 4319 - Seminar on Nursing, the fourth-year nursing students organized the annual seminar on Value of Being a Nurse on 18 February 2002 at the Hall of Flame. The program included an academic report by Ms. Prenuntanij Suwantra, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, an opening speech by Dr. Nanthaphan Chinlumprasert, Associate Dean of the AU Faculty of Nursing Science, and, as the highlight of the Seminar, a panel discussion on the topic, "Value Being a Nurse". The panelists included Dr. Vichai Visedrit, a medical doctor from Chao Phraya Hospital; Dr. Kobkul Phanchroen- warakul, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Science, Mahidol University; Dr. Churdchai Cheowtirakul, Dean of the AU Faculty of Biotechnology; and Mr. Siripan Uamglad, President of the AU Student Council 2002.
The seminar ended with a Closing Speech by Dr. Nanthaphan Chinlumprasert who expressed her appreciation to the fourth-year students and sincere thanks to the participants.
