Last Orientation Seminar for Engineering Students
A seminar on the Last Orientation for 411-xxxx and 412-xxxx engineering students took place at Wiman Bangpli Hall of the Bang Na Campus of Assumption University on 21 February 2002.
The Rector, Rev. Bro. Prathip M. Komolmas delivered an opening speech, followed by the speech of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, and the speech of the Vice President for the Student Affairs, Rev. Bro. Leochai Lavasut. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Sudhiporn Patumtaewapibal then gave some guidelines to be observed when they joined the industry. It was followed by a presentation by Dr. Richard Gay Johnson, Director of the Office
of the International Affairs on "How to prepare yourself for further study". Next was a presentation by Mr. Pisit Wongtrakulchai, a graduate of Engineering Faculty, presently an engineer in an industrial firm on "How to succeed in working as a professional engineer". Finally, the President of ABAC Alumni Association (ABACA) made a Closing Speech on "ABACA and engineering graduates".
