Approval of Engineering Professional License

The meeting between the Subcommittee for the Approval of Electrical Engineering Curri-culum and Institution from the Council of Engineers of Thailand and the faculty members of the AU Faculty of Engineering, took place on 11 January 2002 at Room A51. The purpose of this meeting was to examine the curriculum and laboratories at the Faculty in order to be approved for the Engineering License for all three existing majors: Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications Engineering.

The meeting started with welcoming the guests at the VIP Room, Assumption University by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Later at Room A 51, the Dean made a brief report on the faculty members, curricula, laboratories, and the study plan in all three majors. He emphasized the course content of each of the nine categories of the subjects that are required by the Council of Engineers of Thailand. The Committee then questioned some course contents and made suggestions on some important areas. After the discussion, the Committee visited the central library and all the engineering laboratories at both Q and E Buildings.
