The
center has been set up to organize training programs and seminars
for the business community and to offer consultation services and
research services (both primary and secondary research) to companies
that are seeking to survive, grow and prosper in the 21st century.
Business
Training and Seminars:
The
center will provide to the business world the planning and organizing
of training programs for firms' human resources to best suit each
client's needs including both in-house and training for the public
in general.
The
center provides a one-stop service for the training needs: curriculum
planning, speakers and instructors scheduling arrangement, training
facilities (at ABAC Hua Mak Campus, Bang Na Campus and the City
Campus) and training/seminar organizing.
Other
Training Programs
For
individuals (members of the public at large) training is offered
in the areas of language and technical and management skills i.e.
English Language Programs (TOEFL, ffiLTS, English for Business,
English for specific skills, English Communication, English for
Kids), Chinese Language, Mini-MBA, Executive Training Programs,
and so forth.
Due
to the increasing popularity of our English Language Programs, the
14th batch has emerged. ABAC-BTCC focuses on the quality of each
course through skillful instructors who have remarkable teaching
techniques and widely acceptable knowledge. Chinese is another language
that the center has adopted for its 3rd batch since January 2004.
Consultation
Service:
The
center offers consulting services to clients. Companies with internal
problems or those seeking a change, who seek to develop various
aspects of the organization, can receive assistance from the center.
The center can offer consulting services in the areas of marketing
& advertising, management, finance, accounting, hospitality
management, international business management, property valuation,
and information technology.
Research:
The
center can facilitate research planning, conducting research and
results analysis for firms that are in need of information from
various sources to support their management planning and control.
Companies can request the center to assist in finding information
by use of various research methodologies.
Our
Recent Client: Siriraj Hospital
ABAC-BTCC
has organized an Executive Development and Management Program (CEO)
for department heads, assistant department heads and the top management
of Siriraj Hospital. The program took place from March 22 to May
21, 2004 at Au Bang Na Campus and the City Campus at Emporium Tower,
with the objectives of developing the participants' management skills
to plan, develop, lead and monitor healthcare organizations. This
knowledge can be passed to staff members to implement plans and
manage changes to strengthen the organization.
Our
Recent Client: Thai Airways International PCL
This
research is aimed at studying the effects of the upcoming organizational
relocation of Thai Airways International Head Office on its employees.
Employees' expectations, individual and group factors affecting
the employees' perception, and the potential reactions of employees
with regard to the relocation as well as the impact of the relocation
on employees will be investigated. The research findings are expected
to provide ideas and directions for win-win solutions to deal efficiently
with employees during the relocation process.
