1. What is Au Smart ID Card?
   The Au Smart ID card is the latest in student ID cards, exclusively designed for Au students. A joint project between Assumption University and the Bank of Ayudhya, the Au Smart ID card is a contactless smart card that functions as both an all-purpose Student ID card and a Bank of Ayudhya ATM card. With a microchip for storing personal information, the card gives students access to facilities and services on the University campuses and responds to all their banking needs.
   
2. What can theAu Smart ID card do?
   
   1. It is a student ID card.
   2. It stores personal information about the cardholder such as: name, ID no., program level, faculty, expiry date and photograph.
   3. It contains information about a student's current status at the University.
   4. It lets the student enter and exit University premises through Au's Physical Access Control system.
   5. It gives the student access to various University services through Au's Information Access Control system.
      
   * At the Bank of Ayudhya:
   
   1. It is an ATM card.
   2. It lets the student pay tuition fees and other services.
      
3. How can you apply for an Au Smart ID card?
   *If you are a Freshman:
   
   1. Contact the Bank of Ayudhya branch offices at either Au campus or any other designated locations to open a new account and apply for Au Smart ID card.
   2. Pick up your Au Smart ID card and ATM PIN number from the designated location within 15 working days after submitting your application.
   3. Take your new Au Smart ID card to the Office of the University Registrar to have it personalized and to activate the card.
      
      
   *If you are a current student with an Au-Krungsri VIS A Electron card:
   
   1. Contact the Office of the University Registrar at either Au campus to verify your student status and obtain an Au Smart ID card application form.
   2. Submit the completed form and passbook at the Bank of Ayudhya branch offices at either Au campus.
   3. Exchange your Au-Krungsri VISA Electron card for the new Au Smart ID card and obtain your new ATM PIN number within 15 working days after submitting your application.
   4. Take your new Au Smart ID card to the Office of the University Registrar to have it personalized and to activate the card.

   Remarks: Temporary smart card can be used for Au's Physical Access Control System only. To identify yourself for examnination/ quiz, Au smart ID card or temporary ID card must be presented.

4. What are the other advantages of the Au Smart ID card?

• Your Au Smart ID card lets you do your banking transactions online through the Bank's website at www.krungsrionline.com
• The Au Smart ID card also enables you to do banking transactions by phone or fax simply by dialing the Krungsri Phone Service at 1572.
• The Au Smart ID card also allows you to do banking transactions by mobile phone using the Krungsri m-Banking Service.
