Since 1999 a member of the Faculty of Risk Management at Assumption University, Bangkok, Thailand, where he is Director of the Insurance Research Centre, a Faculty Lecturer, member of the University Senate, and Editor of The Journal of Risk Management & Insurance. Since 2001 he had been a member of the Board of Governors of the Asia Pacific Risk & Insurance Association

1992-99: Member of the Division of Actuarial Science & Insurance at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Lecturer for undergraduate (Bachelor ofBusiness) and postgraduate (MBA) degree courses. Supervisor of 'Masters in Business'research students. Member of two editorial boards.
1996-9: Management Lecturer in Singapore for regional insurance executives (from Brunei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam).
