B 15 BILLION SATELLITE TOWN AT BANG NA CAMPUS!
At a press conference held at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel on July 3, 2003 the administrators of Assumption University, Rev. Bros. Prathip Martin Komolmas and Bancha Saenghiran revealed plans for construction of the ABAC MALL within the next two years comprising a two-storey commercial zone with 5031 square metres of space and a 1879 sq-m three-storey building to accommodate foodstalls. This will be part of a 15 billion baht 10-year blueprint to turn the Bang Na campus into Thailands' first self-contained university town which will include a 200-million baht, 200 room five-star hotel and a 500 million baht exhibition and convention hall with seating for 1500-2000 persons.
