How Polls and Surveys Promote Health and Living Standards 16 July 2002 Conference at Hall of Fame, C Building

A conference on the above topic was organized by ABAC-KSC Internet Poll Research Center and Thai Health Promotion Foundation on 16 July 2002 at Hall of Fame, C Building.

The conference was. attended by government executives, representatives from companies, educational institutes, political parties, academicians for health promotion, parliament representatives, and ABAC Poll officers to exchange news and opinions. Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Health, Dr. Nirun Pitakwatchara and Community leader, Mr. Surin Kijnitchee were guest speakers on “How to develop quality of life”

There were 4 group discussions:

  1. The important health problems and quality of life that reflect social conditions.
  2. Education on health problems and quality of life promotion.
  3. The solutions for health promotion and good quality of life.
  4. The policy and measures on health promotion / quality of life.

However, the ABAC Poll will conduct a survey in 2002 to see whether policy and procedures for improving health and living standards are adequate, effective and really beneficial.
