INTER-SCHOOL GENERAL KNOWLEDGE QUIZ
In conjunction with the quiz competition the attending school students and teachers were taken on a tour of the Bang Na Campus, to introduce them to the international environment and sophisticated academic culture prevailing at the Assumption University. The major objectives of the project included exposing the participants to the English Language through the means of the quiz competition and to introduce the new members of ABAC Arcadia to club activities. But the foremost objective of whetting students appetites for knowledge and learning yielded handsome results when the quiz competition got underway. The seven participating schools which sent their top-notch students included: La Salle College, St. Gabriel's College, Assumption Thonburi School, Treamaudom-suksa School, Sainampung School, Bangkok Christian College and Assumption College. At the end of the competition which was conducted on the lines of a popular TV game show, the top three prizes went to Assumption Thonburi School, Assumption College and Treamaudomsuksa School. Rev. Bro. Dr. Leochai Lavasut, Vice Rector for Student Affairs was present at both the opening and closing ceremonies and handed the proud winners their prizes before the curtain closed on the proceedings.
