Ball State University Group's Summer Tour
Faculty and students from Ball State University U.S.A. on summer study tour during May are seen here in the Golden Teakwood Vimanmek Mansion.

Assumption University was host to a delegation of 17 Ball State University faculty and students for five days in May as part of the group’s summer study tour through the Far East. Their study tour took them to universities in China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. Although the Ball State University has been conducting this summer program for many years, this is the first time they have included Thailand. Judging by the commentsvoicedbythegroup, itappears the Bangkok detour will become a permanent part of the Summer Study Program. The visit to Assumption and other destinations here was sponsored and arranged by our Office of International Affairs while the Office of Thai Art and Culture organized and conducted the tours. The photo on the right shows the group with tour manager Ms. Chayanan Assawadhammanond, of the Office of Thai Art and Culture in the Grand Room of the Golden Teakwood Vimanmek Mansion in Bangkok.
