THE SIXTH WINE TASTING FESTIVAL

Rector Dr. P. Martin Komolmas awarding the 1st prize for wine to students of the Biotech Faculty on September 21,2000.
This festival, organised by the Faculty of Biotechnology, was held at the Hall of Fame, C. Building on September 21,2000. Over 200 guests and interested persons visited the campus to watch the proceedings. Speak of wine and we are instantly reminded of expensive imports from France, Germany, Australia etc. But now Thailand has taken up wine production seriously and the quantity and quality is increasing and improving at a tremendous rate. What prospect can be more exhilarating than the possibility of cutting down expensive imports, meeting local demand through our own vineyards, wineries and expanding into export. The Faculty of Biotechnology is doing a splendid job in this field and the Red Wine produced by it is available at our Bookstore at B 200 per bottle-imbibers please note.
