Miss Panadda Wongphudee(Boom) was recently crowned as Miss Thailand and part of the bargain on selection is acceptance of a job as an unofficial ambassador of "Thai Tourism and Culture" in the Tourism Authority of Thailand. We are happy to report her vital statistics as follows.
Although most beauty pageant contestants are proud of their physical assets, Boom is more conscious of her intellectual qualities. She is capable of deep thinking, logical reasoning and more inclined to rational appraisals and interpretations as opposed to emotional reactions and assessment. These qualities will stand her in good stead in her new position which will include meeting and explaining to travel industry officials and tour groups from abroad and she will have to sell Thailand as an ideal tourist destination and promoting such features as pollution free, peaceful and picturesque cities, beaches, heritage structures and sites, combined with modem infrastructure facilities, attractive shopping complexes, hospitable receptions and other beautiful shapes shades and cultural traits of Thailand. We are certain Boom will perform superbly and we wish her a highly successful and splendid career as a Thai tourism ambassador.
