Faculty Orientation

The Faculty Orientation for this year was organised on Saturday July 1, and the program featured the following important activities which are listed seriatim.

Registration : 09.00 hrs.

Vision and Mission of Assumption University by Rev. Bro. Prathip M. Komolmas, President. 09.30 hrs. Refreshments 10.00 hrs.

The role of Office of Human Resource Management by Dr. Richard Johnson, Deputy Director. 10.15 hrs.

A Lecturer's Roles and Responsibilities by Rev. Bro. Visith Srivichairatana, Vice President for Student Affairs. 11.00 hrs.

Lunch 12.00 hrs.

Advising Students: Approach and Process by Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, Vice President for Academic Affairs. 13.00 hrs.

Being a Proctor: Process and Issues by Dr. Vindhai Cocrakul, Head of Examination Proctoring and Scheduling and Dean, ABAC School of Management. 13.45 hrs.

Academic Excellence at Assumption University: Development and Integrity by Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, Vice President for Academic Affairs. 14.15 hrs.

Conclusion 15.15 hrs.

The newly appointed faculty members expressed their appreciation and gratefulness for the opportunity to listen to senior administrators which they felt would enable them to discharge their roles and functions much more effectively obviating the need to apply "trial 'and error" methods in getting on the right track while starting their new careers.
