HAPPY CHRISTMAS 2000.
It is a hallowed tradition at the Assumption University to celebrate Christmas on a grand scale allowing thousands of students and neighbouring community residents to participate and enjoy the festive season to the fullest possible extent. Life is hard and full of serious obligations and pursuits and it is only natural that people should wish to have a break from all the grinding chores and dreary routines and seek a little fun and excitement. So Christmas comes every year with music, singing and dancing to bring good cheer to all and sundry.
According to the program drawn up by the Student Affairs this year's highlights included a treat for kids from Thungmahamek Orphan's Home, shows by the McDonald Group, Foreign Teachers, concerts entitled Barbie,
Black Head and Silly Fool and other performance like Ugly Coyotes, Magic Cabaret, Eddy Show, games, raffles etc. We reproduce photos on Christmas Celebrations on Campus, Christmas 2000 in Picture and Awards Presentation and Felicitation on the President's Birthday and Christmas Greetings December 22, 2000 for our readers.
