Orientation Session for New Instructors.

A faculty orientation was organised by the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and held at Seminar Room of “D Building” on November 27, 1999. Lectures were given by Rector Dr. P Martin Komolmas, Vice Rector Dr. Bancha Saenghiran and Vice Rector Rev. Anupatt Petchara- yuttachai. The Rector spoke about the vision and mission of the University and about the need to adopt a positive approach in dealing with the attitudes and outlook of the students. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs dealt with the rules and regulations framed and incorporated in the Faculty Manual and he emphasized the need for instructors to familiarize themselves with the provisions so as to avoid errors of omission and commission. The Vice Rector for Financial Affairs talked about the role and responsibilities of instructors and the code of conduct and ethics of the teaching profession.
