The translation of messages sent by the Prime Minister and the Minister for University Affairs are reproduced for the benefit of our readers. The message extended by the Rector was as follows.
Today we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our School of Management with a high sense of pride and gratification. Indeed there are diverse reasons to be happy and proud; from our modest beginnings offering only one discipline in economics our curriculums now cover the entire spectrum of business education.
The fame and acclaim of our University has spread far and wide during these 30 years of our existence and many of our alumni are now represented on the board rooms of the multinational corporations as well as holding top echelon positions in the public sector including the cabinet circles of the Royal Thai Government. We have achieved a lot but there is no time for complacency and no reason to rest on our laurels. Keep working hard and focus on instilling management potential in our students because this is going to be the quintessential quality that will serve as a talisman in the business world of the 21st century and beyond.
