"The Father of Thai Nation" Exhibition.

The above academic exhibition was held during July 8-11, 1999 at the Ground Floor of Seacon Square. HRH Princess Soamsawali who presided at the opening ceremony on July 8 at 14.00 hrs. was welcomed by the Rector, University Councillors, Managing Director of Seacon Development Co. Ltd., students and guests of honor. The exhibition was organized jointly by Assumption University and Seacon Management Co. Ltd. To honor His Majesty the King as "The Father of Thai Nation" on the occasion of the 6th cycle birthday anniversary of H.M. the King. A brief description of the highlights.

In the Royal Zone, photos of His Majesty the King's royal activities as well as selected portraits f the King were shown.

In the Education Zone, useful details and other information on 10 faculties and the Registration Office were provided. These included general information about the faculties and useful excerpts, lectures and demonstrations on particular fields.

Registrar's Office : This provided general information on the programs offered and online admission procedures.

ABAC School of Management : Marketing Analysis on Royal Projects, Information on Thai Imports, Exports General Consulting Center for Self Employment, Information on Brokers and Dealers, Roles of Accountants in 2000, Y2K and Accounting System, Demonstration of Table Setting, Napkin Folding, and Cocktail Preparation.

Faculty of Science and Technology : Statnet : Neural Networks for statistical modeling, A Thai Speech Synthesis System, S&T Electronic Bulletin, CAI for Etymology, Network Performance Analysis Using Internet Adviser, Spectrum Analysis of Electrical Signals.

Faculty of Nursing Science : Details of Alternative Medicine, Thai and Chinese Herbs, Demonstration of Making Fruit and Vegetable Juices, Blood Donation.

Faculty of Arts : Models of the Royal Projects, Self Access Learning Program, Boards on Arts and Culture as well as International Culture Show.

Faculty of Biotechnology : Demonstration on Ice-cream Making, Microorganism in Selective Media, Tissue Culture, and Beer & Wine Making and Tasting.

Faculty of Risk Management and Industrial Services : Boards showing various types of insurance, information on real estate and industrial services.

Faculty of Engineering : Antenne Measurement, Free-space Optical Link, Energy Saver for Fluorescent Lamps, Reactive Power, High Power Electric Vehicle Battery Charger, Telecontrol by Power Line Carrier, Bar-code guided Cargo Transport, DC Drive, AC Drive.
