Recently the Dean and staff members of the Faculty of Nursing Science were overjoyed upon learning that two of our graduates were promoted to senior positions at the prestigious Bamroongrath Hospital, Bangkok. Ms. Chareanporn Prasentsuko (Class of 1992) was appointed as Manager of Pre-Anesthesia Care-Unit while Ms. Nathorn Roongvitaya (Class of 1993) was made the Manager of Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Department respectively.

The Nursing Faculty also organised a seminar on the topic, "How to prepare goof quality and high standard questions papers" from the 13th to 15th January, 1999. Two prominent educators Asst. Professor, Dr. Dilok Dilakanon, and Associate Professor Dr. Wirat Wannarat, from the Department of Education and Psychological Test Bureau, Sri Nakarinwirot University, Bangkok were the guest speakers.

In conformity with the discussions and ideas and views exchanged at the seminar the Nursing Faculty staff has framed and screened sample examination papers and forwarded them to the Ministry of University Affair for vetting and approval. If is hoped that these prototype question papers will form the basis for building up a data base at the faculty which can be used for examinations in the future.
