Drink Tea to Avoid Heart Attacks

According to the newspaper reports Professor Catherine Rice-Evans of the International Antioxidant Research Centre in London has declared that drinking tea every day can reduce the risk of heart attacks and cancer. Tea contains natural compounds called flavonoids which neutralise harmful chemicals that damage cells and which can cause stroke and cancer.

Prof. Rice-Evans confirmed that research had established the fact that tea was a beneficial component and that drinking one or more cups a day can reduce the risk of heart attacks by as much as 44 per cent.

With its sweet tang and pleasant taste it should be possible to switch to tea (hot or cold) and build up our resistance to fatal illnesses.
