4th WINE TASTING FESTIVAL 1998

The 4^th annual wine tasting festival organised by the Faculty of Biotechnology was celebrated at 18.00 hrs. on September 14, 1998 at the Communication Arts Theatre on the 9th floor of E building.
The Rector Dr. P. Martin Komolmas, Vice Rectors, faculty members, students and a large number of invited guests participated in the festivities. After the opening speech by the Rector explanations were given on the fine points of wine tasting and how to examine, smell and sip this alcoholic drink and their variety such as red wine, white wine, sparkling wine which were produced in the laboratories and the pilot plant on the campus of the Assumption University. There were ample supplies of snacks to go with the wines such as cheese, sausages, nuts, fruits and vegetables and we reproduce here photos taken on the occasion which show how much the hosts and guests enjoyed this annual festival.
