The new batch of students from Loyola College, Maryland were welcomed to the Assumption University at a buffet dinner held at the premises of the ABAC Hotel on July 3, 1998. Student exchanges are becoming highly popular and it is doubtless the best way to foster international fraternization and cultural understanding.
Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Suwat Khunkitti (flanked by Rector Dr. P. Martin Komolmas and Vice Rectro Dr. Bancha Saenghiran) who was on a special purpose visit to the Assumption University Campus stopped by to greet the executives, faculty, staff members and students by way of wishing them good food and good fellowship (photo 1). In the other photo Father Nash, Brother Bancha and Brother Phillip are seen selecting portions of their choice from the food platters.
