JOB TRAINING PROGRAM FOR HOTEL MANAGEMENT STUDENTS.

 
400 hours of practical work and rigorous training in various departments of hotels are part of the course load for Hotel Management majors and previously students were assigned to various hospitality establishments in to city to fulfill this requirement. Now as a result of coordination between the Faculty of Business Administration and the Financial Management Office, the ABAC Hotel on the 12th Floor of Coronation Building will resume catering operations for faculty, staff members and their guests and the Hotel Management students will now serve 100 hours of apprenticeship in this facility on our own campus. The opening ceremony for the Job Training Program, presided over by the President Dr. P. Martin Komolmas and attended by a large gathering of deans and department heads was held on June 22, 1998. The ABAC Hotel commenced business again with effect form June 23, 1998 and faculty and staff members are urged to patronise and appreciate the culinary delights at competitive prices in a clean and wholesome ambience.
